Karen Dejo y Lizet Soto presentaron oficialmente con bombos y platillos Sábados Tropicales, programa con el que esperan liderar las noches sabatinas. "Es una propuesta diferente, llena de juventud y frescura. Realizaremos un reality de la cumbia con un grupo musical que estamos creando, y a medida que pasen las semanas, con la ayuda de todo el Perú, iremos eligiendo a los integrantes. El programa saldrá todos los sábados a las 7:00 de la noche", precisó la sexy morocha.
Karen y Lizet dijeron sentirse más unidas que nunca, ya que el objetivo principal es alcanzar los dos dígitos de rating y así superar al Reventón de los Sábados (espacio conducido por la Chola Chabuca), al que consideran su verdadera competencia, mientras que a la Súper Movida de los Sábados (programa conducido por Janet Barboza) prefieren no tomarla tan en serio debido a la poca aceptación que tiene por parte del público televidente.

También competirás directamente con Recargados de Risa...
- Es difícil competir con Recargados de Risa, pues tiene picos de 25 puntos de rating, pero superarlos en audiencia tampoco es algo imposible.

Robert Capuñay es el productor musical del programa, ¿eso quiere decir que alguna vez tendrán al Grupo 5 como invitado?
- El canal tiene las puertas abiertas para todos los grupos y, de no mediar inconveniente, este sábado tendremos al Grupo 5 como invitado en el programa inaugural.

¿Veremos homenajes como los que se hacen en el programa de Janet Barboza?
- No los que se acostumbra ver.

Cambiando de tema, ¿niegas que saliste con el "Chorri" Palacios a una discoteca?
- Así es, ese día estuve descansando en mi casa. Además, al "Chorri" no lo conozco, jamás nos hemos visto, no nos conocemos personalmente.

Pero dicen que hay un video de ustedes...
- Si en caso lo hay, entonces que lo muestren, más bien reto a que lo hagan, videito manda. Nunca he salido con ningún futbolista.

¿Tuviste problemas con tu pareja a causa de esa información?
- No, estoy sola, concentrada en un 200% en el programa.

¿Qué opinas del trabajo en las canchas del "Chorri" Palacios?
- La verdad que no me interesa el fútbol.

Tus ex compañeros de "Recargados de Risa" comentaron que es muy difícil que un nuevo programa les llegue a quitar el liderazgo en el horario.
- Sí, como te dije, es algo difícil pero no imposible. Guardo mucho cariño por mis amigos de Recargados, pero aquí en Frecuencia Latina estamos decididos a hacer un programa exitoso. Además, somos competencia en el horario, mas no en el estilo, pues lo nuestro es musical y lo de ellos cómico.

¿No existe rivalidad entre tú y Lizet?
