Tongo - La Pituca (en inglés)

La Pituca en inglés, ni más ni menos que la última perla del inefable Tongo, uno de los exponentes más representativos de la nueva cultura popular peruana y, de paso, uno de los engreídos de esta humilde casa blogueril, Crónicas de la Farándula Kitsch, tanto así que su rollizo y mofletudo rostro adorna desde hace casi 2 años nuestra ya desvencijada combi junto a esos otros grandes portentos faranduleros como lo son Mario Poggi y Monique Pardo en la clásica imagen de cabecera que tanto nos caracteriza.

Sobre el tema del presente post, debo confesar que menudo trabajo me ha costado siquiera entender la mitad de lo que el buen Tongo trata de expresar en la nueva versión de La Pituca, canción rebautizada ahora como "The Pituca", un logrado crossover destinado al público anglosajón, una entusiasta iniciativa que surge a raíz del inesperado e inusitado éxito (¿?) obtenido por el artista durante su más reciente presentación en la discoteca Gótica de Larcomar, singular hecho que el propio Tongo ha declamado (por los cuatro vientos) como el clímax de su exitosa y muy envidiada carrera musical: "Ahora sí puedo morir en paz", ha sentenciado, con el pecho (y la barriga) completamente henchido de orgullo.
El caso es que, por más de que se trata de una traducción fiel y literal de la letra original, y por más que puse mis magros cinco sentidos en alerta total, me resultó tarea imposible alcanzar a distinguir al menos un par de frases consecutivas que sonaran moderadamente claras y coherentes. Al final, derrotado y cabizbajo, no me quedó otra que chequear las respuestas en el solucionario, el mismo que viene a continuación por cortesía de los siempre amables y oportunos comentaristas de YouTube.

Es así como les dejo la letra de La Pituca en inglés para vuestro regodeo personal, aunque, viendo cómo están las cosas, termina siendo pertinente abordar este singular experimento de 3 maneras distintas para lograr una mayor comprensión por parte del público espectador (y de la mía también):
